Back from Jakarta! It was fun! On thursday, when i found out that i don't have to go to work for the next 3 days..i was overjoyed. Its rarely work will allow me to take 3 days rest. The reason, because we got no more mooncakes to sell! haha!

I've always wanted to go to Jakarta eversince when i was 14..So at night i went to check the rates of travelling there.
Found a good one and went to book ticket the next day (Friday). Rushed home to pack and then left for the airport! haha..Fast ya? but i like this way of travelling. haha..
Well..i think God really blessed me with a good airline rate there..i flew on cathay! was thinking of bughet airlines.

i called a fren, someone who i haven seen for quite some time eversince she moved back to jakarta. She took care of my accomodation by finding good hotel rates and comfortable place to live. She told me she went around asking, where is good, cheap and safe. woah..quite effort u know. Finally, she found one called Hotel Mega Anggrek, quite good and safe! reasonable rate!

I was in jakarta for 3 days...i travelled alone and meet her there..She picked me up from the airport..my flight was delayed..so she waited for quite some time. i touched down around 11pm jakarata time.

She also drove me to her school..its ok cause its university...the university is called. Universitas Bina Nusantara. The school looks like a office building..made of glass. quite nice.
Met some of her friends..nice people.
Got to know some of her friends better during lunch..we had this indo chicken rice..with sweet sauce and super spicy chilli. hah! delicious. and my favourite drink, "es teh manis" aka Sweet ice ice. i've picked up some few phrases of bahasa..will learn more!

Later, all of us went to the huge and famous shopping mall, called the Taman Anggrek Mall.
its like our Takashimaya, but including a cinema and a ice skating ring. cool ya.
had so much fun there! eating and watching movies..ate indonesian pempak, siew mai bundung and soto palembang. real good man..

i had so much fun and now i am missing it so much..and most of all i am missing the people there.
On the last day...my flight was at 7.25am she woke up so early at 5am just to fetch me to the airport..becos she said taking taxis is not safe..
At the end of the whole trip i was very touched by her actions..from finding me accomodation and driving me around. I'm so glad she is my best friends..and now i miss her.

She will be coming singapore soon! i hope to see her..and it will be my turn to entertain her.

It seems that i have not been blogginh for a very long time. Alrights, some updates.
I cant wait for mooncake festival to come! I am not very keen on such festivals..but i really need the rest. My shifts for the next 2 weeks till the 18 September (actual day) are driving me crazy.
I start my morning at 9.30am and work all the way to 11pm! killer man...i've calculated..i only got a few hours of my own chill out time in a day! But these days..i've been out catching up with frens..who are on leave from Army. was fun..but i still have to wake up for work the next day.

The reason why we are doing full shift is becos we are short on manpower..and we have to save on costing. But i just pray hard that my overtime is paid by cash, i hope its not returning me the hours.

Today i helped a customer to carry his mooncakes to his car, which was quite far away. After that...he offered me a ride to the hotel side entrance..which is convienant enough. What "wow" me was that his car is BMW7 series..its huge and there is a touch screen map display in these new batch of BMW. i was quite happy..haha

Today was quite busy..in fact it is one of the most lousy day i had. Its ok now..we jus wanna to hang out.
